Blarney Stew

Blarney Stew

Blarney Stew is based in the New York Tri-State area. Comprised of thoughtful and skilled musicians, Blarney Stew presents a varied program of music featuring bawdy Irish pub songs, Traditional Celtic instrumentals as well as some country and bluegrass influenced tunes. The instrumentation is pure acoustic and features Ken Harten on vocals and fiddle, Perry Paletta on mandolin, Bill Reiner on lead vocals and guitar, Rob Simpson on stand-up bass and vocals and Pete Dunphy on drums, percussion and vocals. The group's musical pursuits have brought them to many local and long distance area clubs, pubs and private events. Blarney Stew takes great pride in volunteering to perform at many charitable functions. When the mood strikes The Stew has been known to break out the electric guitars for some old school rock and roll and surf music. Sláinte!
